Adrian started his career in 1976 with Colley Sampson, a general practice firm based in Luton and operating throughout Bedfordshire, and moved into London to join Fletcher King in 1982 where he specialised in landlord and tenant and retail agency matters throughout the UK acting for major multiple retailers and many institutional landlords.

In 1988 he moved to Hillier Parker to become head of the southern area retail agency team and moved on in 1992 to establish his own practice, Adrian Harmer & Company based in South Molton Street, W1.

In 1995 he got together with Chris and Andrew to establish Harmer Ray Hoffbrand.

Adrian currently specialises in retail agency, development and investment matters predominantly within London and the South East of England advising major retailers, institutional and private landlords and developers.
